নাটোরের বাগাতিপাড়ায় কৃষক লীগ নেতা রাসেল সরকারকে আটক করেছে বাগাতিপাড়া মডেল থানা পুলিশ। তিনি উপজেলার ৪ নম্বর দয়ারামপুর ইউনিয়নের মিশ্রি পাড়া গ্রামের সুরমান সরকারের ছেলে।
সোমবার (৮ জুলাই) দুপুরে দয়ারামপুর বাজারে অভিযান চালিয়ে তার নিজ ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান থেকে তাকে আটক করা হয়।
পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা যায়, গত ২৪ জুলাই ছাত্র-জনতার ওপর হামলা ও অগ্নিসংযোগের ঘটনায় দায়ের করা মামলায় তার বিরুদ্ধে অভিযোগ থাকায় তাকে আটক করা হয়েছে। আটক ব্যক্তির বিরুদ্ধে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের প্রক্রিয়া চলমান রয়েছে।ক্লাস শেষ হলে পরবর্তী ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে ।
